God’s wonderful guidance and perpetual blessings

We thank God for His wonderful guidance that our family of four members decided in August 2020 to emigrate to the UK. Soon we could get discount fare for December flights. Thanks to the help of the local brothers and sisters for getting us a dwelling place before our departure, which in turn enabled us to apply for a place in the school; so, a week before our departure we got an email notification from the school asking us to go for an interview in December. We had never thought that my son and daughter were admitted by the Principal on the very day of the interview and he even gave them uniform and schoolbags. The Principal said they could go to school the next day. I was touched. I thanked God that He had listened to our family’s prayers and His grace was truly beautiful.

Enjoy the love in God’s family

The Bible says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. Though we are in a foreign country without our family members around us, we thank God that we can still enjoy the warmth of God’s family. In this covid isolation period, I felt deeply the abounding love of the brothers and sisters in God’s home. Brothers came every day to cook for my daughter, two meals a day for 21 days while some cooked congee for us. There were some who came to our doorsteps, called and watched us through the windows to see if we were all right. (Ha ha, the brothers and sisters in God’s family are so sweet.) There were a lot of medication and food put at our door. So, our house was full of vegies, fruits, meat, medication, essence and health supplements….love prevailed our house. I was touched. The affectionate warmth in God’s family was conveyed without words. Besides, it so happened that my daughter’s birthday fell on one of those days. They brought us a surprise by making a birthday cake and a huge-sized birthday card for her. We were so impressed that our gratitude index reached the highest limit. We are really blessed to be in God’s family.
