Hello, everybody. My name is Christine. The verse above has become a great encouragement on my immigration to the UK.

It is precious that wherever we are in life, God is with us. Though there are significant difficulties every time, God leads me through them, letting me get the greatest blessings.

Time flies. I had been in the healthcare industry for more than twenty years. Because of the pandemic, the working schedule had become too tight for us to take a breath and I felt extremely tired. In October 2020, I decided to quit my job. At that time, the political situation and atmosphere in Hong Kong were uncertain. After asking God in my prayers many times I finally was determined to go abroad for Him. In the process I experienced discouragement and obstacles, but it was precious that God gave His helping hand at the appropriate times. His blessings were too abundant to be listed and not less were the tears I had shed in gratitude. God has given me my motto: ‘Be not afraid, only believe!’ 

We thank God that my family could smoothly come and settle down in Birkenhead. It is precious that we have the warm God’ home here. To many people, immigration is a very difficult matter, and it takes time for the adaptation. But for my family, with God’s encouragement and a church in accordance with His will, we are very much relieved because I know: ‘He must be responsible for us unto the end’.
