Warrington Story
We Stand for Lives Changed by Christ
As we had all immigrated to and lived in the same destination city, we, a number of more than ten Christians, agreed to have a zoom meeting on 23 May to get acquainted with each other, and to worship and pray to God for the building of the church in Warrington. That was the first Sunday meeting of The Church of God in Warrington. It was a day very much worthy of memory.
The Church of God in Warrington was set up in mid-2021. It is a rather young church, but we have experienced lots of loving-kindness among brothers and sisters, and abundant graces from God.
We are mostly young families immigrated from Hong Kong though there are locals, who are fruits of our preaching. From toddlers to retired elderlies, every one of us has a different background but has now integrated into a family in which all love each other. Thanks to God that He has prepared for us immigrants a warm and eternal God’s home.
