Leeds Story
We Stand for Lives Changed by Christ
We are a group of Christians who firmly believe in the Holy Bible and faithfully follow God with perseverance. We bear testimony for God earnestly and preach the gospel. Our global vision is to build churches in all nations that faithfully keep His commandments and teachings.
In 1986, a group of our brothers and sisters in Hong Kong came to England to preach the gospel and build a church in London. After that, we also established churches in Northampton, Birmingham and Birkenhead.
Later on, some elderly people living in Bradford were saved. During these years, some brothers and sisters also moved to the vicinity of Leeds. We know each other and meet together, hoping to help people know God and His beautiful love plan. On June 13, 2021, we started the first bread breaking meeting of The Church of God in Leeds.
From young children, family to the elderly, we all come from different backgrounds but share joy, and support each other in adversity. Thank God for enabling us to constantly experience the grace and love of God and man through His guidance and the prayers of brothers and sisters. God really prepares a warm God’s family for those who have moved to Leeds.
