We Stand for Lives Changed by Christ

The Church of God in Warrington (Birchwood) started from a jointly organized Chinese New Year celebrations with Birchwood College on 19 January 2023. To respond callings from God, a number of more than ten Christians from different home cities gathered together and had our first Saturday fellowship on 4 February 2023. With the abundant graces from God, the truly passions and loving-kindness among brothers and sisters, we grew rapidly and more than 15 families joined the fellowship steadily. On 2 July 2023, we started our Sunday Service when was a day very much worthy of memory and experienced God’s desire.

To demonstrate God’s love, we have been continually helping new Hong Kong immigrants to adapt to their life, including residence arrangement, school applications, medical care and daily life information voluntarily. We bear testimony to God earnestly, preach the gospel and hope people we know experience abundant life with true faith, hope and love from God in the UK.

Not only having regular cell groups, Sunday worship, prayers to perceive God’s will and keep His commandments and teachings faithfully, we have various church family activities to support each other closely. Thanks to God that He has prepared for us a warm and eternal God’s home filled with love and joy in Warrington.
